In our physical world, most people believe that what they can see with their physical eyes are the only things that are real. However, there is an entire spiritual world in existence around us that supersedes the physical world; it is unseen with physical sight but just as real as the natural. In this spiritual realm, angels exist to guide, protect, and watch over us. These beings can be sent anywhere, operate under God’s authority, and were created to worship God, but the world knows little about them. Angels are immensely powerful; they operate under God’s authority and are always in His presence, yet they have been assigned to minister to us and deliver us as needed. As born-again believers, we have been given authority over them. Contemplating on this should give us an idea just how much God loves and values us.
