When we face uncertainty or unforeseen circumstances, we find the strength we need in God’s Word. We have been given authority over adversity; we are not to allow situations to define us. We are not helpless, and it is important to see everything in our lives from God’s perspective. Regardless of the circumstances on the physical level, the enemy is still defeated and God is still good. Because of the finished works of Jesus, we won two thousand years ago. Although the devil is constantly plotting against us, God’s plan for us will prevail when we remember what the Word says. Once we put our foot down and decide to submit to God, Satan is forced to flee.
