Real success means accomplishing God’s will for our lives. If we want to succeed, we must be willing to walk the same path that Jesus walked and take on the role of a servant. There is no changing this truth. Following Christ means to be unselfish and to humble ourselves. As believers, our identity is in Christ, which means we now identify ourselves as servants who minister to others. The ability to give of ourselves indicates spiritual maturity. We only grow and mature as Christians when we learn to serve God by serving the people around us.
