Believers have received gifts from God that the world does not have. One of those gifts is His perfect and complete faith. This faith is vastly better than our imperfect faith, which is constantly in the process of being refined and developed. It is embodied in Jesus Christ and based on His finished works, which means we can rest from our labors and simply receive what God has already done. Genuine rest is indicated by our confidence in Him, regardless of what we see going on around us. Believing is good, but what we believe matters; trusting in and relying on Jesus’ faith in what He did—instead of on our own works—brings to pass the manifestations we need. Choosing to rest instead of struggle is the way we celebrate God’s finished works.
