One of the greatest dangers to the forward motion of our Christian walk is when we become complacent. Complacency differs from contentment. A complacent attitude is a trick from the enemy, designed to keep us from growing and maturing in Christ. There’s nothing wrong with appreciating the blessings God has given us, as long as we continue growing and improving. In the restless, discontented world we live in, the only way to find contentment is by yielding to Him.
