Change for the better is always God’s will for us, and when we discover something about ourselves that needs changing, grace empowers us make that transformation. However, once we have been rescued from it, we should never go back to what we were delivered from. Sin has consequences, and after God delivers us from it, we must not fall back into the old behavior patterns that put us in bondage in the first place. It is important to resist the temptation to fall back into the way we were. Our lifestyle does not prevent our miracle; however, once God pulls us out of the pit, we must never return to our old way of life. Ensuring that we come out of every bad situation with some godly wisdom we didn’t have before prevents us from making the same mistake again. We succeed when we trust and believe God, and put our relationship with Him above all else.
