As men, it is vital that we know the biblical definition of what it means to be a man. We live in an environment in which most men are confused about their masculinity. This confusion is rooted in a sense of inferiority and insecurity that stems from the sin that originated in the garden of Eden. It is a curse that has been handed down through generations. Feeling inferior opens up a whole host of issues, including jealousy, a false sense of superiority, and feelings of inadequacy. Thankfully, Jesus dealt with sin on the cross and made God’s forgiveness available to us. Because of what Jesus did, no more do we have to struggle with the sin that keeps us inferior. The blood He shed restores to us the same level of equality and dominion in life that Adam and Eve enjoyed before they sinned.
