As Christians, it is paramount that we understand the importance of change in our everyday lives. True transformation only comes through the Holy Spirit’s help, not by putting pressure on ourselves to change. When we have a hunger and a thirst for God’s Word, we willingly embrace the changes it brings. The more we study His Word, the more we learn about Him and the more we change. Studying the Scriptures causes a gradual transformation in us as we renew our minds according to what God says. It is His will that we enter into a personal relationship with Him, and it is impossible to stay the same once we truly begin to know Him. A thorough and accurate understanding of the specifics of what Jesus came to do allows Him to change our lives for the better.
