Believers live in the world without being part of it. This means that as Christians we are called to resist the spirit of fear that has gripped the world. God has commanded us not to be afraid; therefore, we must be on the alert not to allow fear to control or dominate our lives. We expel and defeat it by believing in God’s love for us. Our belief in this is our most powerful weapon; we must not let fear creep in and contaminate our faith. However, we must go one step further and verbalize our faith that He loves us. Knowing how God’s law of the spirit of life operates, and being willing to activate it by our words, enables us to exert our authority over fear.
