The environment in which we live is anything but emotionally healthy. Fear is all around us but, as Christians, we are called to live above this destructive emotion. Everyone has the opportunity to feel afraid occasionally—even believers. The difference between us and the world that we have God’s perfect love as the weapon to expel fear when it shows up. Belief in His love for us is our strategy to defeat the panic that has gripped so many others. His Word tells us over and over of His faithfulness and commitment to us; we must not let fear destroy our faith in this. We win when we believe that God is greater than any fear we could face.
