Long life is a gift from God that we receive when we stand in faith on His promises. God assigns angels to protect and preserve the lives of believers who affirm His will for them that they enjoy long and productive lives. As God’s children, this type of protection is our heritage. In the Bible, we see how the angels delivered Daniel from the lion’s den and Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednego from the furnace because of their trust in God; we have the same divine protection available to us. Our belief in God’s Word is essential; believing Him commits Him to assigning His angels to protect and guide us into the future He wants for us. Prayer, service to God, invoking the name of Jesus, and instructing the angels what to do also brings them to our aid. Knowing how to use angelic provision that lines up with the Word ensures that we will live long and prosper.
