Worshipping God has always been essential for the believer. However, the way we worship Him has changed from the old covenant of the law to the new covenant of grace. To get all the benefits of worship, we must correctly divide between the worship styles of the old and new covenants. For it to be acceptable to God, we must give the best we have to offer, and it must come from the heart; this is not the same as giving based on a requirement to do so. Under the new dispensation, worship is no longer a complicated ritual of building temples and making animal sacrifices, but a thankful celebration of God’s mercy and grace, the way the apostle Paul taught. The temples are no longer structures made of wood or stone; they are our bodies. We are now free to worship God in spirit.
