God values us and loves us very deeply. He treasures us and sees us as the apple of His eye. As Christians, we hear a lot about love, but if we are to truly experience it, we must first love ourselves. This is significant because much of what we do may be the result of unresolved brokenness somewhere in our lives. Being broken is part of being human; even King David experienced it. However, brokenness is not God’s will for us; it prevents us from seeing ourselves as God sees us. The key to overcoming it is to search ourselves to find where our brokenness comes from and honestly deal with it, because we have great value in God’s kingdom.
